Testing the Hypothesis, Part 2
Who: Students, faculty, and visitors to campus that feel as if the electric scooters are not necessary, they would rather walk or wait on-campus buses. These people fall outside this boundary because they would be in the category of people who could benefit from this service but would not utilize it.
What: This need differs from another need due to comfort, affordability, and necessity. The thirst is not the same as the hunger because priorities for each individual are rarely ever the same.
Why: The cause of the outsiders' need that differentiates them from people inside the boundary of this opportunity is their inability to afford to rent scooters or the feeling that electric scooters are not needed.

Interview #1
T’Kia, Graduate Student at the University of Florida
T’Kia first started at the university as an undergraduate and she took the bus everywhere. As she progressed throughout college, she took the bus around campus less and less because she learned how to be on campus earlier to be on time. She would not use the service because she can just plan to be places early so using the scooters is not a necessity.

Therefore, she would not be a good candidate to use the electric scooters that would be provided by uber and lyft.
Inside the boundary
Who: Students and parents and faculty that believe electric scooters will better assist them.
What: An affordable and convenient way to get around campus
Why: Being places on time because there are long distances that are only accessible by walking
Outside the boundary
Who is not: Those who feel electric scooters are unnecessary
What the need is not: Getting across campus with an electric scooter is not needed
Alternative Explanations: My father, for example, felt that once I was in college, it was up to me to take responsibility and accountability and figure out a way. Proper planning will allow someone to be somewhere on time

Summary:
The interviews allowed me to learn how much smaller my opportunity became. It might not be as necessary and the most frequently used service after all.
