What's Next

Existing Market

Step 1: When it comes to products and services, my next move would be to conduct a trial and advertise.

Step 2: I interviewed three customers, and they all gave similar feedback. They believe that the word needs to get out and create some buzz for the scooters.

Step 3: Based on the feedback and my own expectations, the future seems to be bright and successful. It is something that will continue to grow and become bigger and bigger. It can even reach other college campuses. My customers think that there are a lot of ways to advertise.

One interviewee believed that partnering with the university’s social media accounts on Instagram and twitter would make it easier to reach out. That would be something to help gain a following and convince people to buy in.

New Market

Step 1: A radically different market would have to be a corporation’s job site. It would be different age groups, safety precautions, budgeting, etc. to get around.

Step 2: My venture concept would be a showoff to other companies or those who are interested in working at different jobs.

Step 3: I interviewed two people from this new market. They both were high up officials at my last internship. They believe it is something that can be used by executive officials but common workers not so much. Also, it would be better for them to just out right buy scooters instead of the rental fees that accompany the service.

Step 4: When learning about this new market, I was surprised that the idea would even be considered. It is something fun that can be integrated to keep the work place in good spirits though. On my part, it would be interesting to work around work place barriers.d

A few of my expectations were correct. The database would have to be straightforward and the rental fee should not be incorporated. It makes sense because the company should just own the scooters because the amount of use that would actually be given. This market does not appear to being more attractive because it is more difficult to articulate.
